The Center for Pediatric Stem/Progenitor Cell Translational Research, located at the University of California, Davis, is a multidisciplinary partnership Center of Excellence that unifies investigators and research programs across basic science, translational, and medical disciplines for a common goal - the advancement of cellular therapies for the treatment of childhood diseases. The Center consists of three research projects which are supported by four cores. In addition, a Pilot and Feasibility Program builds on a long-standing commitment to providing opportunities to investigators nationwide, and fostering cross-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary collaborations. Our objective is to perform cutting edge translational research relevant to childhood health, and to provide intellectual infrastructure and specialized expertise to investigators to facilitate bench-to-bedside cell-based therapies.
