Examples of services available include:

  • Nonhuman primate models of cell transplant (e.g., fetus, infant, juvenile)
  • Imaging: ultrasound, ultrasound-guided procedures, optical imaging, microPET
  • Laboratory: flow cytometry, immunoselection and cell sorting; cell-based assays; PCR-based assays, preparation of RNA and DNA; laser capture microdissection; immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization; microscopy, morphometry, and stereology

Projects selected for support

  • Immune protection of macroencapsulated cells in a primate model
  • Investigation of the angiogenic potential of endothelial progenitor cells under various oxygen microenvironments
